With a proud heritage spanning over 2,000 years, Odisha (formerly Orissa) reflects a glorious past dating back to the Mauryan era. Located on India’s eastern coast, it is fondly known as the Soul of India. Rich in minerals, the state is a hub for mining, steel and aluminum industries, and power generation.
