This classic high-altitude trek begins from Korzok village, the nomadic settlement near Tsomoriri Lake in Ladakh, and follows the Parang Chu river south-eastwards. Crossing the Parang La Pass, the route enters the Spiti Valley via glaciated terrain before concluding at Kibber village, from where the journey continues to Kaza, the administrative centre of Spiti.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Later, a guided city tour covering Raj Ghat, India Gate, President’s House (drive past), Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and major temples. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Leh
Transfer to Leh. Rest and acclimatisation on arrival. Later, a gentle walk through Leh Market, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and Sankar Monastery.
Overnight: Leh
Day 03: Leh – Indus Valley Monasteries
Visit Shey Monastery, Thiksey Gompa with its iconic Maitreya Buddha statue, and Hemis Monastery, one of Ladakh’s largest and most important gompas. Later, explore Stok Palace Museum.
Overnight: Leh
Day 04: Leh – Chumathang – Tsomoriri
Drive through Upshi to Chumathang, known for its natural hot springs. Continue to Tsomoriri Lake, a high-altitude Ramsar wetland and important breeding ground for migratory birds such as bar-headed geese and ruddy shelducks.
Overnight: Camp near Tsomoriri
Day 05: Korzok – Kyangdam
Begin the trek with an easy walk along the eastern shore of Tsomoriri Lake. Camp at Kyangdam.
Day 06: Kyangdam – Skitpodangsa
Trek across open plains and river crossings along the Parang Chu. Camp near Skitpodangsa.
Day 07: Skitpodangsa – Getpabuzak
Continue trekking southwards along the Parang Chu to a scenic campsite below surrounding slopes.
Day 08: Getpabuzak – Tarangyokma
Gradual ascent through high-altitude terrain, crossing small tributaries before reaching Tarangyokma.
Day 09: Tarangyokma – Parang La Base
Short and easy walk to the base camp of Parang La, preparing for the high pass crossing.
Day 10: Cross Parang La – Takkarzong
Cross Parang La Pass via glaciated terrain. The descent on the Spiti side is steep and barren, leading to the campsite near Takkarzong.
Day 11: Takkarzong – Thagltak
Trek along the Parang Chu through a narrow gorge before ascending to the campsite at Thagltak.
Day 12: Thagltak – Kibber
Trek towards Kibber village, one of the highest permanently inhabited villages in the world.
Overnight: Camp
Day 13: Kibber – Key Gompa – Kaza
Visit Key Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti Valley, before driving to Kaza.
Overnight: Kaza
Day 14: Kaza – Spiti Sightseeing
Visit Dhankar Monastery, Tabo Monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Lalung, and Kungri Monastery in Pin Valley.
Overnight: Kaza
Day 15: Kaza – Manali
Scenic drive via Kunzum La and Rohtang Pass, offering views of major Himalayan peaks and glaciers.
Overnight: Manali
Day 16: Manali Sightseeing
Explore Hadimba Devi Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Naggar Castle, and local markets. Evening at leisure.
Overnight: Manali
Day 17: Manali – Delhi
Drive back to Delhi. Overnight stay.
Day 18: Delhi
Leisure day with optional exploration of Old Delhi, including the Red Fort area.
Day 19: Depart Delhi
Tour concludes with departure for onward journey.
